Bike Church is a solar-powered sculpture made from recycled bicycle parts.
The project offered summer internships to a group of underserved high school students who each designed a circular panel within the sculpture. Bicycle chimes and adaptations of Mexican memorial shrines also allow visitors to contribute to the interactive sculpture. This project was featured in Sculpture Magazine, V 29 No 4. With Joe O’Connell.
