Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Steel, acrylic, Programmable LED lighting, touch sensors
15′ x 28′
This illuminated sculpture emits a soft color-changing glow. The form draws inspiration from Calgary’s unique Chinook arch weather phenomenon which periodically blankets the sky, combined with industrial space frame technology. Touch-sensitive lighting components invite physical and social interaction, giving the sculpture an evolving nature as a living organism.
