Encompass

This artwork references Morgan Hill’s unique geology within the Santa Clara Valley as well as the community’s interest in outdoor recreational activities.

The folded panels allude to the surrounding hillsides of the Pacific Coast and Diablo Mountain ranges. The two curvilinear forms enclose the Morgan Hill valley between them. The sculpture is made of bicycle wheels highlighting the active local cycling community.
