Heart Beacon

The life-saving mission of the Emergency Coordination Center in Portland, Oregon inspired Heart Beacon, which senses the heartbeats of visitors who enter the enclosure through electronic touchpoints.

Seeing these heartbeats displayed within the sculpture reminds visitors of the value of each life. With Joe O’Connell.
