Nicollet Illumination

Nicollet Illumination is a series of 12 suspended lanterns for Nicollet Mall in Downtown Minneapolis.

The lanterns engage visitors on a level of human discovery in day and night. Local poets, writers, and storytellers created the text that is incorporated into the lanterns.​

​Received the Greening and Public Realm Award, 2018, from the Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District.

Commissioned by the City of Minneapolis as a part of the redesign of the Nicollet Mall by Field Operations, who designed the Highline in NYC.
